Lease to Own Program

The Lease to Own Program provides the opportunity for income-eligible Pokagon Band Citizens to afford a home by leasing it from the Department of Housing and then purchasing it once certain conditions are met.

Eligibility requirements:

1. Must be Pokagon Band Citizens
   
   
2. Meet low income requirements
   
   
3. Applicant must have 575 Credit Score
   
   
4. Applicant or Household must have no outstanding judgments on Credit Report
   
   
5. Applicant or Household members’ bankruptcy must have been discharged 2 years prior to enrollment in Program
   
   
6. Attend homeownership and monthly budgeting classes.
   
   
7. Applicant or Household does not owe debt to tribe
