Language Programs
The Pokagon Band Department of Education is always working on language preservation. The question was posed at a recent language conference:
“Where do we expect our language to be in 100 years?”
The Pokagon Band is going to be utilizing as many tools possible to ensure that our language survives the next 100 years.
LANGUAGE CLASS SCHEDULE

Thursday, March 6 7-9 pm Dowagiac Office

Thursday, March 20 7-9 pm Dowagiac Office
Pokagon classes are Thursday nights from 7-9 p.m. at the Pokagon Department of Education in Dowagiac on March 6th and 20th.
If you are interested in attending the Mishawaka classes and would like a ride from the Dowagiac office: The van leaves at 5:30 pm. Please bring money for dinner. Please call if you plan to ride, due to limited room in the van.
Elders classes are held at Elders Hall in Dowagiac on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m.
