Pokagon Band of Potawatomi and Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan, Inc. began the Pokagon Band Head Start Program in 1998.

The Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan, Inc., Head Start Programs (Head Start and Early Head Start) are dedicated to providing and advocating for quality services through a holistic approach of developmentally appropriate, family centered, and culturally relevant services to promote strong, healthy families.

Some of the services the Head Start Program provides to the enrolled children & families are as follows:

    The Pokagon Band Head Start Program is always accepting applications. There are currently no open slots for the current school year, however, any applications received will be placed on the waiting list.

    The program is now accepting applications for the 2007-2008 School Year.
