Tribal Recognition was restored and signed into law by
President Clinton in September of 1994.
The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians distribute
services to its approximately 3634 membership.
The tribe has a ten county service area, four being in
Southwestern Michigan and six in Northwestern Indiana.
