Chi Ishobak (pronounced Chee-ish-o-bock) in Potawatomi means “big cabbage,” which is appropriate for an institution with money to lend. As an emerging CDFI and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we find products and services which provide Pokagon citizens with professional and personal financial help. CDFI’s create opportunities for individuals in economically disadvantaged communities.
Chi Ishobak’s mission is to provide Pokagon citizens with access to affordable capital for business loans and individual financial development through collaborative and education-based lending services. Chi Ishobak practices responsible lending to protect our loan capital for future generations of Pokagons.
Chi Ishobak looks to help change lives and explore opportunities within the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. Visit our website for more details.
