Independent Certified Public Accounting Firm for Tribal Government Annual Audit

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians is accepting proposals from CPA firms to provide audit services for our Tribe in the future. We invite your firm to submit a proposal to us by July 31, 2010, for consideration. A description of our organization, the services needed, and other pertinent information follows:
Services to be performed
Your proposal is expected to cover the following services:

Annual audit to be completed should be in compliance with the standards applicable to the financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, and OMB Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments and Non-Profit Organizations. Supplementary information required to accompany the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians financial statements as required by generally accepted accounting principles includes budgetary comparison information. The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians does not present the management’s discussion and analysis as required by accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America.
- Meetings with Finance Board and or Tribal Council, as necessary.
To fully comprehend the information contained within a response to this RFP, the reviewing group may seek further clarification on that response. This clarification may be requested in the form of brief verbal communication by telephone, written communication, electronic communication, or a presentation of the response to a meeting with the review group.
