Request for Proposal Financial Advisor
The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians seeks a Financial Advisor to provide advice to the Tribal Council regarding a variety of government and business investment and banking considerations.
Respondents interested in this consulting role will have the minimum credentials:
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Financial Planner
- 20 years as a Chief Financial Officer, Investment/Wealth/Portfolio Manager or Investment Broker
- 20 years fund management and overseeing banking relationships
- Overseeing a diverse portfolio of at least $75M
- Developed and monitored investment policies
The ideal candidate would be a retired CFO or Investment Manager from the Southwestern Michigan region that meets the above minimum credentials. The selected consultant will be available to the Pokagon Band Tribal Council and the Pokagon Band Treasurer more frequently, by telephone and attendance of meetings.
Interested respondents must submit their resume and letter of interest explaining how they meet the minimum required credentials, including hourly fee and day rate fee. Letters of interest with resumes must be received by December 17, 2008.
